From the very early weeks of pregnancy, your baby is surrounded by fluid which protects them, so with either an abdominal or an internal probe, the probe will not touch your baby.
We recommend arriving at the clinic between 10 — 15 minutes before your appointment. You will be asked to complete a short pre-scan questionnaire, which just asks for a little more information about you. This ensures our sonographer and the team are completely knowledgeable about you. If you have any questions at all, please just ask a member of our team or our diagnostic sonographer.
